Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and dough rollers efficiently and safely
- Maintain strict food safety standards by following sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to keep offerings fresh and appealing
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate inventory needs to ensure continuous production
- Ensure all food production aligns with quality control standards, including recipe adherence and presentation
- Support the team during busy service hours by maintaining high-volume production efficiency and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or culinary environments, especially with pizza or similar dishes
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling practices
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely
- Experience with fine dining or high-volume food production is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while demonstrating creativity in ingredient combinations
- Background in dietary aide work or dietary department experience is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on maintaining a clean, organized work station
- Prior catering experience or experience working in the food industry is highly desirable

Pay: $25.89 - $31.18 per hour
