ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR-(Master's Degree)

Roxbury is currently hiring a full-time Intake/Admissions Counselor to work in our admissions department. The hours for this position are overnight hours - four (10) hour shifts or five (8) hour shifts.

The Admissions Counselor provides telephonic and in-person assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.

Admissions Counselor Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree highly preferred from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field required;
• Prior experience in behavioral healthcare / admissions preferred.

Admissions Counselor Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree highly preferred from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field highly preferred;
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field required OR licensed nurse with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment required. OR
• Licensed nurse with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment required
• Prior experience in behavioral healthcare / admissions preferred.
