Looking for just a few shifts a month? Roxbury is currently hiring part-time and per diem Admissions Counselors for our behavioral healthcare facility located in Shippensburg, PA. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with our patient population.
The Admissions Counselor provides telephonic and in-person assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Admissions Counselor Job Requirements:
- Masters's degree in a psychology-related field is preferred.
