There are three Cardiac Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. AN RN who is passionate about elevating their clinical skillset will truly value their professional experience they will acquire while working, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated with state-of-art Cath Lab technology and medical devices. The Director is a servant-leader with 30 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.
This position shift will be:
- 7am-7pm =3 12 hours shifts On-Call (1 night a week and 1 weekend a month approximately every 3rd or 4th weekend=Fri night close of business to Mon 6 am)
- Must report w/in 30 min.
