RN Charge Nurse | Cardiac Cath Lab | Day Shift | Full Time

There are three cath labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab.  A Charge RN who is passionate about elevating their clinical skillset will truly value their professional experience they will acquire while working, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff.  This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated with state-of-art Cath Lab technology and medical devices.  The Director is a servant-leader with 31 years of UF Health Leesburg experience and is dedicated to the success of her team and the people of her community. 

The Cath Lab Charge Nurse, under the direction the director, is responsible for scheduling employees and coordinating patient flow and room turnover, overseeing supply and equipment management, coordinating training and orientation of new personnel, assisting in staff development, monitoring the departmental environment to ensure safe patient care and to evaluate and discipline employees and/or make effective recommendations regarding the same. Assist Directors in the completion of performance evaluations. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Will be required to be a Merge Super User and to assist team members and physicians. Expected to manage productivity staffing levels and make adjustments according to volume. Responsible for collecting data for Co-Management dashboards. Weekly Nurse Leader rounding in order to meet patient satisfaction. This is a Full Time Day Shift position eligible for a sign-on bonus.
