Overview
UF Health Central Florida (Leesburg and The Villages) is seeking a Physician Sourcing and Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and recruiting qualified physicians to support the organization’s clinical workforce needs. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and healthcare organizations to build and sustain a robust pipeline of physician talent.
In addition to sourcing responsibilities, this role oversees the physician onboarding process, including coordination of credentialing activities. The Specialist ensures all incoming physicians have obtained the required licenses, certifications, documentation, and training necessary to begin practicing in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Please note the role is hybrid - 50% remote and 50% on site.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Associate’s degree required with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a healthcare setting performing clinical or administrative work
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting performing clinical or administrative work required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruitment and/or onboarding strongly preferred
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, including advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
