Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready and properly handled according to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, appliances, and utensils, through regular cleaning routines
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently to keep the dining area tidy and inviting
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper lifting practices to prevent injury
- Serve food and beverages to guests with friendly in-person customer service, ensuring orders are accurate and timely
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
- Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation, cleaning, and bussing tasks
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a fast-paced setting
- Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
