Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation by following recipes and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support food running duties by delivering orders promptly from the kitchen to the dining area.
- Buss tables efficiently by clearing used dishes and resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely when moving supplies or equipment around the kitchen.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and guest transactions accurately.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Support in in-person customer service efforts by assisting guests with their needs courteously and professionally.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations like bussing, serving, and food running enhances your fit for this role.

Pay: $25.53 - $30.74 per hour
