Duties
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including counters, equipment, and utensils through regular cleaning routines
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and managing dishware collection
- Handle manual lifting of supplies, ingredients, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
- Serve food and beverages to guests with friendly, in-person customer service that enhances their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing accuracy
- Support food running duties by delivering orders swiftly from kitchen to guest tables while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cleaning, bussing, and basic food prep is beneficial
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during busy service periods
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory
- A positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and enthusiasm for hospitality are essential for success in this role
Pay: $25.13 - $30.26 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
