FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEE – RESIDENTIAL
SUPERVISION: Supervised by Residential Kitchen Manager.
DUTIES: Maintain and clean work area and follow food safety procedures in a residential program. Assist in ordering and set up/ maintain food items, Oversee food storage and food handling practices to maintain the areas according to safe food handling regulations, Assist with training/supervising assigned clients in the food service area, Know how to safely operate and properly clean machines/appliances in kitchen, Accurately follow recipes as necessary, Serve food in a friendly and helpful manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma/GED, Food service experience preferred. The position has some physical demands such as: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch and twist. Ability to stand for prolonged periods if necessary. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to walk up and down stairs, Must be available afternoons, evenings, weekends.
Pre Employment Background/post offer drug screening required. Must have valid clean NYS license and method of transportation. Basic computer skills in word processing, e-mail, and Internet use. Must be addiction free including nicotine. This is a nonexempt hourly job. CARF and NHSC accredited. EOE

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 17.5 per week
