* Develop novel technologies and/or apply advanced spatial analysis to study tissue microenvironments in health and disease.
* Engage in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate teaching and mentoring activities within the department.
* Contribute to collaborative, multidisciplinary research across the School of Medicine and the broader UCSD community.

Candidates with research programs that use multiplexed spatial transcriptomics, genome-scale chromatin imaging, single-cell epigenomics, and super-resolution imaging to understand cellular organization and communication in health and disease, including cancer, are encouraged to apply.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.
