What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Services Supervisor 2 position at UC Davis Center for Precision Medicine and Data Sciences?
Valid CRT License
Valid CA Fluoroscopy Permit
Valid ARRT
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in performing a variety of CT or x-ray examinations with a minimum of three (3) years of recent imaging experience.
Extensive clinical experience in performing radiology services and demonstrated ability to coach, instruct, or train radiology technologists.
Must be able to function as a member of the management team. Supervisory skills to ensure fair and consistent supervision. Must have the knowledge and ability to supervise staff on designated shift.
Leadership skills in employee supervision and HR administration to effectively lead and motivate others; conflict resolution skills to resolve personnel issues and counsel assigned staff to develop cooperative working relationships.
Advanced knowledge/experience in EPIC, PACS (Stentor) and Radiology Information System. Competent in archiving, retrieving and exceptions handling with the PACS system.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a complex, challenging environment. Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility, anticipates and effectively handles change.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all personnel matters and appropriate departmental matters.
Organizational skills to establish workload priorities for completion of all tasks in a timely manner.
Organizational skills to coordinate and complete workload with high degree of accuracy. Show initiative; be a self-starter.
Must have knowledge of Joint Commission requirements, Title 17 law, and hospital policies and procedures.
Ability to interpret and enforce University, UCDH, and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
