Electronics Repair Technician

About the Role
We’re looking for a Back-of-House Electronics Repair Technician to join the in-store repair team at our Hudson location. This role is team-oriented and production-focused, working closely with other technicians and FOH staff to deliver accurate, timely repairs and a strong customer experience.
BOH Technicians are a core part of the store’s daily rhythm — coordinating repairs, supporting intake and pickup flow, and contributing to a clean, efficient, and professional repair environment.
What You’ll Be Doing (Primary Focus)
- Perform device repairs including phones and other consumer electronics
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to manage shared repair queues
- Coordinate closely with FOH staff on diagnostics, timelines, and customer expectations
- Maintain high repair quality with low rework and strong consistency
- Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage in POS
- Follow inventory control, parts handling, and RMA processes
- Support store operations during busy periods and shift transitions
Technical Expectations
- Strong proficiency in phone repairs (screens, batteries, common component replacements)
- Ability to diagnose issues accurately and explain findings to teammates
- Comfort working in a team-based repair environment with shared responsibility
- Adherence to established repair standards and workflows — no shortcuts
Experience with additional devices (tablets, computers, consoles) is a plus, but not required.
