Experienced Pressure Washing Driver/Operator

Uber’s Over & Above Power Washing is seeking an experienced pressure-washing driver/operator to become a key member of our field operation.

This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who understands professional pressure washing and soft washing and can safely tow, maneuver and back a commercial pressure-washing trailer—including in tight residential and commercial locations.

Our work includes a mix of residential, commercial and municipal exterior-cleaning projects, with most current jobs located in Martin County. We are continuing to expand into Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens and surrounding Palm Beach County communities. Employees normally report in Stuart to pick up the company truck and trailer.

Compensation and Opportunity

• Starting pay of $26–$28 per hour during the paid evaluation period, based on verified experience
• Opportunity to advance into our Lead Driver/Operator compensation plan
• Lead compensation includes a guaranteed weekly base plus a percentage of the contribution margin from successfully completed work
• Additional incentive for profitable new business personally generated
• Approximately 30–40 hours per week

The right person will have the opportunity to earn more than a traditional hourly rate. Once proven, the Lead Driver/Operator compensation plan is designed to provide dependable base income while rewarding profitable job completion, efficient crew leadership, quality work and personally generated business.

Performance incentives are based on collected revenue after defined direct job expenses. Full plan details, eligibility requirements and calculations will be provided before enrollment in the Lead Driver/Operator compensation plan.

Advancement into the Lead Driver/Operator compensation plan is earned after demonstrating consistent reliability, safe trailer handling, strong trade knowledge, professional customer service and the ability to complete profitable jobs independently according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles while towing commercial pressure-washing trailers
• Safely connect, inspect, back, park and maneuver trailers in tight locations
• Perform residential, commercial and municipal exterior-cleaning work
• Operate professional pressure-washing and soft-washing systems
• Select appropriate cleaning methods for concrete, pavers, buildings, roofs and other exterior surfaces
• Mix and apply cleaning solutions safely and correctly
• Protect landscaping, buildings, vehicles and customer property
• Set up and break down hoses and equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-trip vehicle, trailer and equipment inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and trailer
• Identify and troubleshoot common pump, injector, hose and chemical-delivery problems
• Promptly report leaks, wear, damage and mechanical issues
• Communicate professionally with customers onsite
• Confirm the approved scope before beginning work
• Report additional customer requests or property concerns before proceeding
• Direct a helper when assigned
• Photograph completed work and properly secure equipment after each job
• Use available non-production time for equipment maintenance, job preparation, customer follow-up and approved business-development activities
• Document personally generated leads and business-development activity accurately

Required Qualifications

• Previous professional pressure-washing or soft-washing experience
• Demonstrated experience towing and backing trailers
• Valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet commercial-auto insurance requirements
• Reliable transportation to report to work in Stuart
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and property-protection procedures
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality without constant supervision
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and changing weather
• Ability to lift and maneuver hoses, equipment and supplies
• Ability to work throughout Martin and Palm Beach Counties
• Professional appearance, attitude and customer communication
• Willingness to pursue new business opportunities during approved business-development time
• Ability to document job activity, leads and completed work

Preferred Experience

• Roof and building soft washing
• Commercial flatwork and large surface-cleaning projects
• Sodium hypochlorite handling and plant protection
• Pumps, injectors, proportioning systems, hose reels and surface cleaners
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Leading helpers or independently managing jobs
• Municipal, school, HOA or commercial-property work
• Customer prospecting, estimating or service-based sales
