Job Description
To coordinate the Quality Management programs for primarily inpatient services, but could include some ambulatory efforts. These programs include, but are not limited to, Vizient rankings, quality metrics, or other consumer reporting quality submissions. To collect and report quality data within a meaningful framework to assist the Quality Outcomes Director in driving improvement. To support organizational standardization through targeted process improvement initiatives, and evaluation of success according to pre-established criteria and measurement tools. To assist with the maintenance and goals set forth by the Value Based Metrics, Ambulatory Quality Metrics, Common Goals and other quality reporting. To help identify and coordinate improvement efforts as it relates to our Vizient rankings. To promote quality patient care throughout UAB Medicine along with mission and goals of the Quality and Patient Safety Department and UAB Medicine.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field and (five) 5 years of clinical experience required. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Attendance of Quality Academy or related certification within one (1) year of employment required.
