Job Highlights
We employ food service workers in a variety of assignments each day. You may work as a tray line associate as part of a team of employees building meal trays according to patient orders. Our dish room/sanitation workers wash dishes, clean equipment and floors, remove trash and cardboard, and put away clean dishes, pots, and pans. We also schedule hosts/hostesses or sweepers. Hosts visit the patient floors to deliver hot meal trays to hungry patients, and sweepers round through the hospital to collect the used trays to be cleaned-up and used again. These jobs are ideal for those who seek a fast-paced environment built around teamwork.
Job Description
To receive, assemble and prepare food using specialized equipment. To serve food to patients, visitors and staff. To distribute food and supplies and perform sanitation duties.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred. Certified as completed the Food Handler Training Course by the Jefferson County Department of Health within twenty-one (21) days from date of employment required.
