Job Description Summary -To provide leadership and define the P&O Services agenda for own area of responsibility. -To translate the global P&O strategy into activities, develop processes aligned with strategy, practices and guidelines, and to implement the derived processes, services and/or continuous improvement initiatives. -Global head of a sub-family (Single BU) / Regional Head of a function within a sub-family (All BUs) Job Description Major accountabilities: Provide input to P&O strategy, and translate the related parts of the P&O strategy into own operational plans; monitor compliance and initiate corrective measures in case of deviations. Provide leadership and strategic and operational direction for the organization's P&O Services team and ensure implementation of operational objectives, while continuously driving improvement and innovation. Provide counsel and strategic recommendations on the design and implementation of P&O Services solutions. Plan and oversee the provision of P&O Services to the organization, based on expectations set with Unit P&O / others as relevant. Direct and ensure the efficient implementation of all P&O Services processes and standards in own functional area and ensure coaching of senior leadership team. Lead the analysis and identification of potential process and services improvements (in cooperation with P&O), providing appropriate change management support. Direct the preparation and finalization of P&O Services investments plans and budgets, and manage the budget/resource allocation. Drive periodic cost and efficiency analyses to support productivity objectives, monitor regional business performance and take corrective measures, if required. Direct the development, review and approval of P&O Services policies and procedures and ensure adherence thereof. Oversee the management and development of large P&O Services teams (FTE / HC 100 ) Sponsor / lead / initiate key P&O Services projects. Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable) Key performance indicators: FTE cost control, operational cost, Budgeting process, SLA process -Defined End-user Experience KPI, productivity, quality, CSAT.
