Help
As a PHOTOGRAPHER (MUSEUM ARTIFACTS), you will:
- Be responsible for daily operation of the photography studio, digital imaging equipment, completing photography and other digital imaging projects.
- Handle and store digital files appropriately and reports issues and/or suggestions for file management.
- Develop full catalog records for digitized artifacts in the collections management system (TMS), including associated media and metadata.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues for photography of artifact collections, including artifact staging, digital image processing, and metadata management following NARA guidelines and industry best practices.
- Participate in unit meetings, contributes to group decision making, provides input on ways to improve unit efficiency.

- A probationary or trial period may be required. Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
