The mission of the Idaho Operations Office (ID) is to develop and deliver cost-effective solutions to both fundamental and advanced challenges in nuclear energy and other energy resources, national security, and environmental management. ID oversees operations conducted at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) site for the Department.
Qualifications:

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 OF THE 3 of the following:
- Providing technical expertise and guidance in strategy, policy, planning and related technology for all security programs (i.e physical security, information security).
- Developing and Implementing regulatory and procedural guidance concerning emergency management program requirements.
- Providing expert consultation to DOE executives, senior management on policy development, procedure interpretation, implementation, and improvement of program planning and management.
