Job Description:
At 365 Facilitators we are looking for a LEADER! We are seeking a reliable and competent Supervisor Security Officer with leadership qualities (experience is a must), a professional disposition and appearance to control and maintain a safe environment while providing protection and excellent customer service at the Idaho Fall, ID VA Clinic to our Veterans.
You will report directly to the ERM. Assist with schedule coverages, floating between other sites/locations training, assessing quality and compliance needs. You will provide feedback on Security Officers reviews. The SSG will fill in when the Regional Manager is unavailable or needs their support. We provide security for the VA and are responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or any other criminal activity. Our security officers must be well-trained in surveillance and de-escalation when dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate disciplined attendance, confidence, respect, and authority, de-escalation, problem-solving as well as possess a high level of both attention to detail and professionalism.
Job Types: Part-time
Must be able to start immediately
Hours of work: Morning, 8 hrs. per day Thursday and Friday
Responsibilities:
-Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
-Scheduling and shift coverage
-Training
-Attend company meetings as needed
-Floating/Roving as needed to other locations
-Provide the Regional Manager with weekly reports on employees
-Assist in employee reviews as needed
-Help with recruiting and possible interviewing as needed by the Regional Manager
-Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
-Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
-Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
-Report in detail any suspicious incidents
-Patrol on foot randomly or regularly within the building and perimeter
-Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Requirements:
- Must have a current Guard Card
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 21 or older
- Pass a background check
- Have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to stand or walk for at least 6 hours.
- Be able to lift 25lbs at any given time
- Be able to work in all weather conditions
