- This position will be responsible for multiple tasks relating to trouble shooting, repair, fabrication, and preventive maintenance of all feed mill equipment.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction.
- Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
- Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
- Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
- Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.
- Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs.
- Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision.
- Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision
- Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed.
- Must be willing and able to work in a -10-degree work environment.
