Summary /Objective
The Footwear Production Manager supports the production team in the management of the production stages of product lifecycle. Issue POs on a monthly cadence and monitor 100% on-time shipments. Manage monthly replenishment PO’s by analyzing sales and inventory reports. Proactively highlights delivery issues and partners with leadership on resolutions. Interfaces with sales, merchandising, design and operation teams. Knowledge of costing and leadtimes.
Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Analysis and PO management: Analyze sales and inventory data to plan monthly replenishment POs.
- Update cost and delivery dates on open POs and monitor the on-time shipment.
- Vendor Communication: Drive daily production process through communication with global vendor base throughout the product life cycle. Communicate the forecast data to vendor to reserve production capacity.
- Sample Management: Tracks PPS and TOP samples and communicate the schedule with internal partners.
- Product Life Cycle Management: Uses AS400/ Spotfire/ Shopify/Repspark
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas factories, mills, and sourcing partners.
- Conduct weekly production meetings and provide accurate status updates to leadership.
- Identify potential production risks and proactively implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure all garments meet company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve production samples, TOP (Top of Production) samples, and shipment approvals.
- Collaborate with Technical Design to ensure garments are produced according to approved specifications and fit standards.
- Work closely with Product Development to facilitate a seamless transition from development into bulk production.
- Coordinate with Logistics and Freight Forwarders to ensure timely shipping and customs compliance.
- Monitor vendor performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Assist in negotiating production costs while maintaining quality and delivery expectations.
- Analyze production metrics, including delivery performance, quality rates, production efficiencies, and vendor scorecards.
- Maintain accurate production reports, WIP (Work in Progress), and ERP system updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, social compliance standards, and applicable regulations.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferable in Business, Operations & Supply Chain Management Will consider work experience.
- 5 years’ experience in Production or procurement.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
