Data Entry Manager

Summary /Objective

The Data Entry Manager is responsible for leading the Purchase Order (PO) entry function while ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data entered into the ACS/AS400 ERP system. This role oversees daily data entry operations, establishes process controls, monitors team performance, and partners with cross-functional departments to ensure purchase orders are entered accurately and on time to support sourcing, production, inventory, logistics, and finance.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in ERP systems, with a strong understanding of purchase order management and operational workflows.

Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Manage the daily Purchase Order (PO) entry process in ACS/AS400, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for PO creation, revisions, and maintenance.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy, completeness, pricing, quantities, vendor information, delivery dates, and item specifications before system entry.
• Ensure all PO revisions, cancellations, and updates are processed accurately and communicated to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain the integrity of master data within ACS/AS400, including vendors, styles, SKUs, costing, and product information.
• Partner with Production, Sourcing, Merchandising, Logistics, Planning, Finance, and Accounts Payable to resolve PO discrepancies and data issues.
• Monitor daily workload and prioritize urgent requests to meet business deadlines.
• Conduct routine audits to identify and correct data errors while implementing preventive controls.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including data accuracy, processing turnaround time, backlog, and productivity.
• Generate reports and provide operational metrics to leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, standardization, and continuous process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and data governance standards.
• Support ERP system enhancements, testing, and user training as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferable in Business, Operations & Supply Chain Management Will consider work experience.
• 5 years’ experience in Production or procurement.
