What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer position at Tylent?
We are actively hiring for the following Full-time/direct hire positions in San Diego, California (Onsite)
Important Requirement: Candidates must have Land Development (Landside) experience across all projects.
Position 1: Civil Project Engineer Manager
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate will have a BSCE degree, CA Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, (or ability to obtain in next 6 months), plus a minimum of five (5-10) years relevant experience; or the equivalent work experience of eight to twelve (8-12) years in this industry
Position 2: Senior Project Engineer
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidate will have a BSCE degree, CA Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly relevant experience; or the equivalent work experience of eighteen (18) years in this industry.
- Local San Diego County experience as well as California experience preferred.
- Candidate must possess the ability to sustain positive business relationships, obtain new work, and to market services provided by Company.
- Candidate shall be active and have continuous involvement in community and professional societies and organizations.
Position 3: Principal Project Engineer
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidate will have a BSCE degree, CA Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, (or ability to obtain in next 6 months), plus a minimum of eight (8-12) years relevant experience; or the equivalent work experience of twelve (12-15) years in this industry.
Position 4: Field Survey Manager
Location: San Diego, California (Onsite)
Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire
LSIT and PLS preferred, or ability to get LSIT or PLS within 12 months of hire. The upper end of the range reflects PLS Licensure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of land survey experience, plus an A.S. or bachelors in land surveying or equivalent work experience of 12 years.
- Having a California Land Surveyor Registration is a plus or demonstrating the ability to obtain within 180 days of accepting the position will be taken into consideration for wage determination.
Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
