Job Title: Project Architect

Overview
An established practice is seeking a Project Architect to join its New Jersey office. This role will focus on the planning, design, and delivery of complex life sciences and pharmaceutical facilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, experience working on regulated environments, and the ability to lead projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and documentation for life sciences and pharmaceutical projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, process, and construction professionals
- Manage project deliverables, schedules, and client expectations
- Oversee production of construction documents and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Support client interactions, presentations, and project meetings
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits and responding to RFIs and submittals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect (or on path to licensure) preferred
- Demonstrated experience working on life sciences, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or similar technical projects
- Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design tools
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
