TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Manchester, NH is looking for an energetic Operations Manager to provide leadership to the operations team and moving crews, and assist in the daily operational aspects of the business. In this role you will work with customers, vendors, and all staff members to meet established business goals and standards. This is accomplished primarily through: training and motivating franchise employees; controlling costs; managing daily franchise operations; and consistently exceeding customer expectations.
What You'll Do
- Lead by example in communication, performance, attitude, attendance and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation
- Interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training
- Assist with employee scheduling, dispatch of movers and drivers and daily record keeping
- Responsible for employee development, accountability and corrective action programs
- Professionally handle customers and their concerns and oversee the damage resolution process
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
- Implement and maintain proper DOT program using electronic logging devices
- Conduct safety spot checks to ensure all jobs are completed to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® standards
- Continually maintain thorough understanding of all company products, services, and promotions
- Develop strategic sales growth plans with the General Manager to ensure revenue and profit objectives are met
- Assists in day-to-day organizational and clerical support tasks
- Help develop brand recognition in the community
- Warehouse/storage management
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager
Who We're Looking For
- Highly motivated and driven individual
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Driver’s license with good driving record
- Willing to obtain a Fed Med Cad and complete a DOT Physical
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to customer service and the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values
- Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willing to work Monday-Friday and every other Saturday
