Accountant

Take your accounting career to the next level in Saint Michael, MN! We are seeking an Accountant to support our growing manufacturing team. This role combines day-to-day accounting tasks with manufacturing cost analysis, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Location: Saint Michael, MN

Wage: $26 – $34/hour, based on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Duties of the accountant:

• Review financial statements for accuracy
• Prepare and file tax returns
• Enter accounting information into business logs
• Inspect accountant books for accuracy
• Organize and update financial reports
• Analyze, track, and report on manufacturing costs
• Collaborate with production managers to ensure accurate cost allocation
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile inventory
• Support budget preparation
• Serve as backup for daily accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entry preparation

Requirements of the accountant:

• Associate’s degree in accounting or finance required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, manufacturing experience a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Epicor or SAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
