Salary: $180K-$220K $50K Signing Bonus 22% Production

Associate Veterinarian Description
Our client in the veterinary services industry is seeking Associate Veterinarians to join their hospital in Lancaster, PA, with a focus on urgent care. There are no overnight shifts or Sunday hours. In this role, you will deliver a personalized client and patient experience while practicing high-quality medicine in a collaborative, ethics-driven environment. The ideal candidate is an animal advocate who communicates clearly, exercises strong clinical judgment, and builds lasting trust with pet owners. Surgical Mentorship Program Available: This position provides the opportunity to do an intensive one-on-one surgical mentorship.
Associate Veterinarian Responsibilities
• Provide emergency medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for canine and feline patients
• Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
• Manage emergency and urgent medical cases including trauma, toxicities, and acute illnesses
• Interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory results, radiographs, and other imaging
• Monitor hospitalized patients and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response
• Triage emergency cases and initiate stabilization and critical care protocols
• Perform emergency and urgent surgical procedures as indicated
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans clearly with pet owners
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records while following hospital protocols and best practices
Associate Veterinarian Qualifications
• DVM/VMD from an accredited program is required
• Active veterinary license in good standing is required
• 3 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian is required
• Willingness to work one Saturday per month is required
