Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Description

Our client is seeking entry level Associate Veterinarians to join their hospital in Lancaster, PA, with exposure to both wellness care and urgent care. There are no overnight shifts or Sunday hours. In this role, you will deliver a personalized client and patient experience while practicing high-quality medicine in a collaborative, ethics-driven environment. The ideal candidate is an animal advocate who communicates clearly, exercises strong clinical judgment, and builds lasting trust with pet owners. You must be compassionate, team-oriented, and enjoy continuous learning. Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Responsibilities

•    Examine, diagnose, and treat canine and feline patients
•    Advise pet owners on general care, nutrition, and preventive health
•    Manage sensitive or difficult client conversations with compassion
•    Operate diagnostic equipment and accurately interpret the results
•    Educate owners about the benefits of spaying and neutering
•    Ensure adherence to veterinary standards, ethics, and clinic policies
•    Prevent rabies, brucellosis, and other disorders by testing and providing inoculations
•    Complete all required medical records and documentation
•    Collaborate with technicians to optimize workflow
•    Report communicable diseases to public health authorities as required

Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Qualifications

•    DVM/VMD from an accredited program is required (or upcoming DVM/VMD)
•    North American Veterinary License required (or soon to earn, if finishing Veterinary school)
•    Willingness to work one Saturday per month is required

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
