Commercial Lines CSR

Reports to: Branch Manager

Summary: Represent the company in a professional, courteous manner by providing excellent customer service to prospective clients, policyholders and other departments in the organization. Assist CL Account Managers in servicing potential and existing clients. Meet sales, service, and quality standards adopted by the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner – assist with billing payments or issues as well as handle other questions and tasks as necessary.
• Create, provide, and track endorsements and service requests for clients.
• Assist walk-in clients with service needs.
• Take quote information as needed for account managers.
• Assist in maintaining client files and transferring all necessary information into agency management system.
• Follow company procedures to process work in a highly automated environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school degree or GED and P&C agent license active or acquired. Prefer 2-3 years insurance agency experience. Commercial insurance experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills paired with solid customer service and listening skills.
• Able to multi-task and switch gears as needed to adapt to changes, delays, or unplanned events.
• Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments.
• Adequate working knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
• Enjoy working in a team environment and achieving daily goals.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
