Our client, the world’s leading entertainment streaming service, is looking for a Marketing and Communications - Media Manager.
This is an on-site 6-month contract position. Candidates must be able to work in the office from Tuesday through Thursday in Los Angeles, CA, and must not hold H‑1B visa status. The hourly rate is $125; benefits are available through Talent Table. No C2C.
Job Responsibilities:
This position entails working with a small team of marketers to craft strategies for buzzworthy and elevated marketing campaigns (U.S. & Canada) for large-scale, national 360-degree campaigns across digital, TV, print, events, etc., with an emphasis on big ideas that drive conversation.
● Lead regional campaign planning between creative teams, media agencies, and operational teams to drive flawless execution of campaigns.
● Act as a liaison with cross-functional teams to manage talent relationships.
● Manage day-to-day execution of plans and work alongside creative teams to ensure alignment with overall strategy.
● Manage agencies in the development of media and creative tactics, as well as the overall execution of campaigns.
● Work closely with internal teams to drive information-gathering and data analysis efforts, enabling campaign optimization and continuous improvement of media plans.
Qualifications:
● 8 years of experience working on high-profile brand and regional 360 marketing initiatives, and managing strategy at a top creative/media agency and on the client side (in-house).
● Proven ability to develop marketing campaigns from scratch (positioning, audience identification, creative development, and launch roadmaps).
● Strength in leading fast-moving, cross-functional teams toward seamless, integrated marketing campaigns.
● Experience developing creative strategy and leading campaign development.
● Demonstrated history of creating disruptive messaging that generates earned media and social buzz.
● Strong digital fluency, with the ability to plan and adapt digital strategies based on metrics.
● Solid understanding of all communication channels (publicity, social, etc.) essential for campaign success.
● Experience managing product or content campaigns connected to larger brand objectives.
● Preferred: Experience managing talent relationships, and experience in film and/or stunt marketing.
