We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure a seamless dining experience from the moment they arrive. As the first point of contact, you will manage reservations, greet guests with warmth, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests with accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinate table assignments to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general restaurant details while maintaining proper phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status
• Support food service staff by ensuring guest needs are communicated clearly and promptly
• Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in the host station to ensure a safe environment for all guests and staff

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations gracefully and professionally
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently in a busy environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards is a plus
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable but not required
