Who we are. TV Insider is one of the most-read destinations for television and streaming coverage. Our video team shoots year-round in our own Midtown studio and on red carpets and sets, with the kind of regular access to TV and streaming talent most outlets can't match. The operation is growing fast, publishes across YouTube, social, and our own player, and we're investing in it, including original video series, which is where you come in.
What you would do. This is a new role that adds to and extends what our video team already does, with a focus on developing and producing original video series built around our talent access and our on-camera people. You'd shape concepts with the team, help cast the on-camera talent and guests, plan the shoots, bring in freelance crew when our own is at capacity, manage budgets, and keep every series on a reliable cadence.
Who you are:
● An experienced producer of talent-driven video, interviews, games, and repeatable formats, with work you can point to that ran on a schedule and built an audience.
● Someone who can carry a shoot day: run-of-show, crew, and keeping talent happy and on time.
● Someone who can guide post: clear edit notes, delivery, and a finished product that matches what the team set out to make.
● An eye for the look. Each series should have its own cohesive visual identity, from the set to the graphics package to the thumbnails, and you know how to build that with editors and designers.
● A collaborator who loves working with a team. Some of our best format ideas come from our editors and producers, and you'll know how to spot those, develop them, and get them made together.
● Fluent in where this video lives: YouTube, Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and an owned player, and how each one changes the cut.
● Big pluses: hands-on work with motion graphics packages, experience growing franchises or channels on YouTube, and sponsored or branded formats.
The role. You'd join a talented, fast-moving video team and extend what it can do. The studio, the crew, the talent pipeline, and the daily publishing engine are all here, and you'd work hand in hand with the people who run them.
