JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a diligent and analytical Staff Accountant to support general accounting operations and financial controls within a multi-media organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting principles, is analytical, proactive, and proficient with using QuickBooks accounting software.
Key responsibilities
· Assist accounts receivable billings and support AR collections.
- Support weekly and monthly bank statement reconciliations.
- Support daily cash receipts activities.
- Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice preparation, coding, processing payments, and handling related financial transactions.
- Prepare revenue and expense journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
- Point person of T&E administration through Concur platform.
