Job Title: Community Living Supports
Location: Caro, MI
Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable community living supports provider to assist individuals in daily activities.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting, prompting, reminding, queuing, observing, guiding and training activities of daily living (e.g. bathing, eating, dressing, personal hygiene)
· Other activities that increase and maintain an individual’s self-sufficiency such as meal preparation, laundry, routine seasonal and heavy household care maintenance, and shopping for food and other necessities of daily living
· Assistance, support or training with money management, non-medical care, socialization, participation in community activities, attend medical appointments, and transportation for community activities (excluding medical appointments) as well as reminding, observing or monitoring of medication administration
· Assistance with preserving the health and safety of the individual in order for the individual may reside
· To offer activities that foster the development of personal growth, self-reliance, and successful community living
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED
· Must pass a criminal background check, and child abuse and neglect registries
· CPR and First Aid Certified
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
