Job Title: Respite Care Provider
Location: Caro, MI
Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable respite care provider to assist caregivers providing care with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
Responsibilities:
· Providing care and supervision to individuals with disabilities or special needs
· Assist with daily activities. This can include helping with dressing, bathing, eating, and other personal hygiene tasks
· Offering companionship and emotional support to individuals
· Observe clients for signs of distress or health issues
· Manage medication schedules and maintaining a safe environment
· Ensure individuals can perform essential routines safely and comfortable
· Preparing meals that match dietary needs and medication schedules
· Help individuals with mental health issues, such as dementia or limited mobility
· Provide care in the individual’s home
· Facilitate appropriate professional intervention when required
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED
· Must pass a criminal background check, and child abuse and neglect registries
· CPR and First Aid Certified (Will be provided).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
