Tusco is looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our growing team!

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers and play an important role in helping keep these projects organized, coordinated, and moving forward.
What you’ll do:
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and job setup
- Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation
- Coordinate materials, equipment, rentals, deliveries, vendors, and subcontractors
- Assist with estimating, quantity takeoffs, project scoping, and obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Help coordinate jobsite access, badging, staffing, and other project requirements
- Prepare and distribute manpower, progress, and delivery reports
- Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, General Contractors, and other project stakeholders
- Help ensure project information, documentation, and deadlines stay organized and on track
What we’re looking for:
- 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in project management, project coordination, estimating, field operations, or a related capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related construction or engineering field preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, required.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar construction document management software preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, terminology, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, follow through on assignments, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
