We’re growing fast and building a lovable brand people trust. We’re looking for a Business Systems & Salesforce Administrator to help own and optimize the internal systems that power our sales, marketing, and operations teams.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized, systems-minded Business Systems & Salesforce Administrator to manage, maintain, and continuously improve Turnout’s internal tool stack. This role is focused on administration, configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, and cross-functional enablement to support scalable, efficient operations across the company.
You will be a key member of the team responsible for Salesforce and related systems, helping ensure data accuracy, smooth workflows, and strong alignment with the sales team’s day-to-day needs. Success in this role is about making systems usable, reliable, and scalable for internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration & Optimization
- Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce, including users, permissions, objects, fields, page layouts, Flows, reports, and dashboards.
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to support lead routing, pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Administer and optimize Salesforce to support marketing and sales operations.
- Maintain data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and implement system updates and enhancements.
Integrations & Automation
- Build and maintain integrations between platforms using Zapier and similar tools.
- Troubleshoot data sync issues and ensure reliable, bi-directional data flow across systems.
- Set up and optimize automated marketing events, triggers, and workflows using tools such as Mailchimp or similar platforms.
- Monitor integrations for failures, delays, or data inconsistencies and proactively resolve issues.
System Optimization & Internal Tools
- Monitor system performance and develop solutions to streamline operations and improve data flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective system configurations.
- Act as a key member of the team administering and supporting internal business systems across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support.
- Support and troubleshoot tools such as Dialpad (or similar telephony systems), Slack, email platforms, marketing tools, and other internal productivity systems.
- Assist with system access management, permissions, and role-based controls across platforms.
Technical Support & Documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for system-related issues, investigating and resolving problems across Salesforce and other internal tools.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, integration issues, user access problems, and data discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors or internal stakeholders when escalation or external support is required.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, integrations, and troubleshooting processes.
- Support onboarding and training for sales and operations teams to ensure strong tool adoption.
Event & Campaign Management
- Assist in setting up marketing events and triggers to support dynamic campaign strategies.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all digital touch points are functioning optimally.
- Support campaign tracking and reporting across Salesforce and marketing platforms.
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards for sales, marketing, and leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Business Systems Administrator, or similar systems-focused role.
- Strong hands-on experience administering Salesforce (Flows, permissions, objects, reports, dashboards).
- Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification is a strong plus.
- Strong proficiency with integration tools such as Zapier and native SaaS integrations.
- Experience administering or supporting Canvas, EHR systems, or healthcare-related platforms is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting systems such as Dialpad (or similar telephony tools), Mailchimp, Slack, and other SaaS business tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members.
- Proficiency with document automation software (e.g., DocuSign).
- Comfort working directly with sales teams and acting as a systems partner, not just a technical owner.
