Full-Time Fashion Retail Sales Stylist

Purpose Boutique is hiring a Full-Time Fashion Retail Sales Stylist to create personalized, memorable shopping experiences for every customer who walks through our Tacoma store.

This is an active, customer-facing sales role. You will spend your time getting to know customers, building complete looks, making confident recommendations, and developing the relationships that bring people back. What You’ll Do

• Create warm, personalized styling experiences that help customers feel confident and cared for

• Guide customers through complete looks with thoughtful recommendations around fit, fabric, and style

• Drive personal sales and contribute to store goals through genuine connection, product knowledge, and follow-through

• Build relationships that encourage repeat visits and customer loyalty

• Learn new arrivals and develop creative styling solutions for different bodies, lifestyles, and occasions

• Help maintain a clean, organized, visually inviting store

• Support your teammates and contribute to a positive, accountable, and fun store culture

• Sales, retail, hospitality, beauty, hairstyling, makeup artistry, or other customer-facing experience preferred

• Comfort initiating conversations, making recommendations, and working toward individual and team sales goals

• Reliability, follow-through, and a collaborative mindset

Training & Growth

You will receive hands-on training with a manager or assistant manager, followed by a structured onboarding experience with regular coaching and check-ins. Strong performers may have opportunities for additional hours and advancement into Career Stylist or store leadership as business needs evolve.

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

This is a full-time, in-store role averaging 28–34 hours per week. Purpose stores are open seven days a week, so regular weekend availability and occasional closing shifts are part of the role.

Pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

Employees averaging 24 or more hours per week are eligible for medical coverage with a 50% company contribution and voluntary dental coverage. Purpose also offers an HSA option, SIMPLE IRA with up to a 3% company match, paid time off, and an employee discount.
