Job Summary

The right candidate will be joining a strong team of consultants who help lead their clients into the future. In assisting our clients, this position is responsible for month-end close, financial reporting, managing finance and accounting departments, accounting system conversions, and job costing analysis. The candidate we are looking for must be dynamic, fast-learning, and willing to jump into any task to support our continued growth as an industry leader.


This is a hybrid role based out of our Seattle office, located in the Pike Place Market area. Client engagement is a core part of the work; consultants should expect to be onsite with clients periodically, at times more than one day per week.


Job Duties

  • Responsible for numerous aspects of month-end close, including preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, and critical analysis of changes in account balances to ensure accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Development and ongoing preparation of month-end financial reporting packages, internal management reports, and external bank compliance reporting
  • Maintenance of and comparative analysis against annual budgets and interim forecasts
  • Historical financial statement review and correction as necessary
  • Develop and implement best practices for accounting policies and procedures, providing training to client staff as needed
  • Maximize efficiencies, organize work processes, and automate procedures through system improvements

Qualifications and Skills

  • B.S./B.A. in Accounting
  • 5 years of diverse public and private accounting experience
  • Prior experience with a professional services firm
  • Prior public accounting experience is a plus
  • Active CPA credential is a plus
