Responsibilities
- Identify and document in scope MSS and Telecom device populations, attributes, ownership, and operational context in collaboration with MSS, Telecom, Network, and Security teams
- Analyze and document required communication flows, dependencies, and operational use cases to support segmentation enforcement
- Translate technical discussions and findings into clear segmentation requirements, enforcement criteria, and validation artifacts
- Support enforcement validation activities, including confirming correct segment placement and approved communication pathways using ServiceNow as the system of record
- Maintain traceability between device inventories, segmentation rules, enforcement status, and operational outcomes
- Contribute to standardized documentation, procedures, and workflows to support repeatable enforcement and onboarding of new devices
- Collaborate with stakeholders and users to synthesize, articulate, and document business and system requirements
- Perform data analysis, define, and document business requirements, translate business requirements to technical/engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, user experience requirements, and system validation while considering the complete technical and non-technical solution
- May assist product and operations leaders to coordinate deployment of deliverables (varies by product)
- Provide input for development of other product documents, project charters and plans, work assignments, deliverable target dates, and other aspects of assigned work
- Apply systems engineering methodologies and discipline throughout the product and project lifecycle based on assignment
- Research, analyze, and validate complete and accurate business and systems requirements
- Establish scope boundaries for basic and routine products and technical requirements with accuracy and clarity
- Plan and monitor work scope estimates and schedules for the defined scope of the product
- Assess and define problems through root cause analysis and proactively brings solutions to the table
- Actively seek to understand new and emerging technologies, their capabilities, and how to translate to technical specifications for purposes of design, build, and integration
- Apply system and analytical thinking methodology and discipline
- Bachelor's Degree (business, communications, advertising, marketing, statistics, engineering, technology, health care)
- 2 years of relevant business and/or technical experience
- Experience as a technical or systems focused business analyst supporting infrastructure, networking, or security initiatives
- Working understanding of core networking concepts (e.g., IP networking, routing, firewalling, segmentation) sufficient to follow technical discussions and accurately document requirements
- Ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, structured, and consumable documentation
- Familiarity with network segmentation, access controls, ServiceNow CMDB, or least privilege models strongly preferred
- Comfortable working directly with engineers and operational teams to validate real world behaviors and constraints
- Detail oriented and process driven, with experience supporting multiple device classes or technology domains
- Basic but solid understanding of networking
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at multiple levels of the organization
- Strong communicator, written and verbal, with active listening skills
- Ability to facilitate small group/team discussions

- Able to document technical requirements and specifications in the chosen BA requirements tool(s)
- Able to read, assess, and interpret vended solution architecture and translate into scope of work and technical specification requirements for integration into engineering/technology systems and product operations work-flows
- Understand and help define product implementation change management requirements for those products not requiring formal Implementation Team resourcing
- Understand business strategy and business planning principles and applies with minimal guidance to assigned work
- Understand design, build, and operation capabilities and requirements of current digital product technologies
- Understand and consider both the business and the technical engineering/IT needs to ensure quality digital products and related operational workflows to meet/exceed the desired business objectives
- Able to perform cost, benefit, and risk analysis associated with the proposed product/services and recommend alternatives for solutions throughout the product life cycle

Salary : $65,000 - $95,000
