Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.

Responsibilities

Hedging QAE role Responsibilities

• Operate independently as a senior QA for the team and support the delivery through functional & automation testing.
• Quickly assess existing systems and integrations to establish clarity, identify improvement opportunities, and drive stabilization efforts
• Identify and plan work effort by using test estimation techniques.
• Create and execute test plans/scripts/scenarios.
• Collaborate with team members on building test cases/scripts.
• Log and track issues/defects through to resolution.
• Support UAT and Go Live activities.
• Leverage Test Data Management for identifying and consuming data
• Strong understanding of QA&E processes
• Ability to be innovative in testing approach during challenging timelines
• Facilitate testing meetings, summarize results, issue/defect reporting, maintain metrics and provide go/no go recommendation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience supporting trading, hedging, financial, or risk management systems
• Ability to lead testing for programs with multiple integrated systems
• Strong experience in Playwright or Selenium automation
• Experience operating across SaaS, COTS, and custom-built platforms with an understanding of differing support and delivery models
• Strong experience in backend testing (API/DB)
• Ability to create and execute complex SQL queries
• Ability to use AI for testing purposes
• Good knowledge of Snowflake
• Experience with Azure DevOps or other Test Suite tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to handle delivery with minimum guidance.
  
  

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
