Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and users to synthesize, articulate, and document business objectives and requirements by applying system and analytical thinking methodology and discipline
- Proficient understanding of business strategy and business planning principles and apply to project work (areas may include but not limited to: value proposition, mission/strategy, goals/objectives, technology assessments, funding, and management/administration)
- Contribute to project charter and plans, work assignments, target dates, and other aspects of assigned projects
- Apply systems engineering methodologies, and discipline throughout the project lifecycle
- Perform data analysis, define and document business requirements, support translation to functional specifications early in the development cycle, and conclude with design synthesis and system validation while considering the complete system
- Assist project leaders in coordinating deployment of deliverables
- Demonstrate system and analytical thinking capability
- Progressive knowledge and demonstrated use of business analysis methodologies and tools
- Maintain effective correspondence and in-person communication
- Build credibility, rapport, and partners with others to understand their needs and provide conflict resolution, problem solving, and ability to drive consensus
- Work in partnership with stakeholders to develop a solid knowledge base of business needs
- May manage projects of mid-level complexity, which could include sub-components of larger-scale projects as directed by project leaders
- Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in business analysis, business administration, engineering, information science, health or science-related field
- 5 years of business analysis experience supporting complex technology or data-focused initiatives
- Strong requirements analysis, eliciting and translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and functional requirements
- Strong business/technical bridge, proven ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and other technical teams
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management, leading discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and cross-functional discussions
- Agile delivery experience, backlog refinement, story decomposition, sprint planning, testing/UAT, and working closely with delivery teams
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity, independently structuring unclear problems, identifying gaps and dependencies, and driving work toward actionable decisions
- Healthcare experience, particularly healthcare data, clinical systems, research, or informatics
- Data-focused experience, data flows, mapping, data quality, validation, and/or complex datasets. -Systems integration experience, APIs, interfaces, data exchanges, and upstream/downstream system dependencies
- Process analysis/improvement experience, current/future-state mapping, gap analysis, and workflow optimization
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum credentials
- CBAP Certified Business Analysis Professional, CCBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis, or PMI-PBA Professional in Business Analysis

Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
