Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda) supporting insurance operations, policy administration, actuarial tools, customer portals, and data platforms
- Support senior engineers in building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation while following company governance standards
- Help maintain secure, compliant cloud environments aligned with life‑insurance and financial‑services requirements (e.g., data retention, encryption, logging)
- Monitor AWS resources and assist with troubleshooting performance or access issues in alignment with SLAs supporting customer service, underwriting, and claims systems
- Participate in CI/CD workflows used to deploy internal applications and automation supporting business operations
- Contribute to detailed documentation required for internal audits, incident reviews, continuity planning, and regulatory compliance
- Work closely with security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure appropriate tagging, access controls, and resource standards are consistently applied
- Continue building cloud knowledge through active mentorship and structured training paths
- Foundational understanding of core AWS services or completion of relevant coursework/certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner)
- Basic experience with Linux or Windows servers, particularly in secure, managed environments
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Understanding of core networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and DNS
- Experience using Git or similar version control tools
- Strong motivation to learn cloud engineering within a regulated industry

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
