Financial Reporting Manager (On-Site | High-Growth Tech Environment)

About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing technology organization in the national security and analytics space is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its expanding Finance & Accounting team. This individual will report directly to executive leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, internal controls, and preparing the company for future public-company requirements.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Support forecasting and financial reporting for senior leadership
- Develop and document SOX-compliant internal controls in partnership with internal and external teams
- Participate in month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting processes
- Collaborate with auditors during interim and year-end audit cycles
- Support IPO-readiness initiatives, including enhancements to reporting processes and documentation
- Strengthen reporting infrastructure to support scale and evolving compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- CPA certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6 years of relevant accounting and/or financial reporting experience
- Background in public accounting and/or public-company financial reporting
- Experience with internal controls, ICFR, and SOX compliance
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Ability to work on-site Monday–Friday (no hybrid/remote options)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting IPO readiness or working in a high-growth pre-IPO environment
- Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and EDGAR processes
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or tech-driven environments
- Experience improving financial systems, reporting processes, or internal controls

Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
