Turn2Partners is hiring for a Legal Assistant opportunity with a well-established law firm in Washington, DC. This position will support senior attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice and is ideal for someone with strong legal administrative experience, court filing knowledge, and a proactive, polished approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars, travel, and meetings for attorneys
- Prepare, edit, redline, and proofread legal documents
- Support litigation filings, pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery
- Maintain document organization and version control
- Assist with billing, expense reports, and matter-related documentation
- Communicate with internal teams, clients, and court personnel
- Track deadlines and help keep attorneys organized and ahead of schedule
Qualifications:
- 5 years of legal administrative experience, ideally in Big Law
- Strong litigation support experience
- Experience with state and federal court filings
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion
- Ability to support multiple attorneys and manage shifting priorities
Preferred:
- Experience with iManage, InTapp, Chrome River, Dayforce, or Billstream
