Junior Data Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join a growing digital and analytics team within a well-established financial services organization. The Junior Data Analyst will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, maintain reporting infrastructure, monitor key performance indicators, and support ongoing projects. This individual will play an important role in transforming data into meaningful recommendations that improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools.
- Support ongoing analytics initiatives and projects while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Gather, validate, and organize data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Monitor report accuracy and maintain data integrity across reporting systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven insights.
- Assist in maintaining data warehouse connections, file transfers, and reporting processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and effective manner.
- Document processes, procedures, and reporting methodologies.
- Stay current on industry trends, analytics tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 6 months of data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence experience (internships accepted).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, charts, formulas, data manipulation, and analysis.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Python, R, or similar analytical tools preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
