Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Collections Scheduler to support our busy Collections practice. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. The Collections Scheduler will work closely with attorneys, clients, debtors, and court staff to ensure cases move efficiently through the legal process.
Key Responsibilities
Legal & Court Support
- Draft pleadings, hearing notices, and related legal documents.
- Prepare files and materials for pre-court and post-court needs.
- Attend and assist with court hearings alongside the attorney.
- Coordinate hearing and trial dates with court staff.
Communication & Case Management
- Draft and send form letters to debtors.
- Communicate with clients and debtors regarding case updates, scheduling, and documentation needs.
- Perform occasional electronic filing (e-filing) with the court.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate case schedules, calendars, and deadlines.
- Organize and track case materials to ensure timely workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall department operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a legal, collections, or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Willingness to attend court and communicate with court personnel.
Salary : $18 - $20
