Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Operate tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management, providing excellent customer service.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters and understanding wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in programming or working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices within manufacturing settings.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting complex systems.
