We are seeking an exceptionally organized Sample Coordinator to oversee and optimize physical Design asset management while collaborating with 5 teams within APB: Art Team, Apparel Design, Non-Apparel Design, Technical Design, Raw Materials. This role is responsible for leading organizational efficiency, ensuring best in class and completion of documentation of sample management SOPS, and streamlining and managing sample inflow/outflow tracking and flow across the product organization. The role would report to Sr. Design Manager.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in fashion/apparel industry, with 3 years in an administrative role preferred
- Proficiency in Centric PLM or similar product lifecycle management systems
- Proven track record in sample management and process improvement
- Strong organizational and team collaboration capabilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with product life cycle processes
- Knowledge of fabric and graphic/print processes
- In-depth understanding of apparel production processes and industry terminology
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in data migration and system integration
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee design sample management including retail samples, PP, fit samples, Lab-dips, Strike-Offs and Deco Panel, fabric headers records across SPB Apparel
- Partner with product teams to develop SOPs for sample donation and disposal
- Support product teams with shipping and receiving of samples from the mail room.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Archive physical Design Assets (PP, L/D, S/O, and Deco Panels) in LA office
- Organize Design sample library of in-season and retail samples
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Design, CAD, Product Management, or related field
